All Marketplace plans cover the cost of prescription drugs. Fill any prescriptions you get from your doctor and take them as directed.
- You may have a copayment for your prescriptions. Depending on your plan you may pay up to $50, and with some plans it can even be free.
- Some health plans require preauthorization or prior approval for certain drugs, unless it is an emergency.
- Certain health plans allow you to fill prescriptions at different pharmacies. These pharmacies are called in-network pharmacies. You can call your insurer or visit their website to see which pharmacies are part of your network.
